What do Milestone messages look like? 

Milestone messages are cheerful, taco-filled shoutouts that tag the team member and include a custom message. For work anniversaries, the message includes the number of years at the company.

Can we change the number of tacos sent with each milestone message? 

A HeyTaco administrator can decide how many tacos everyone will receive for their birthdays. That can be adjusted on the Admin → Settings page. 

In HeyTaco for Slack, tacos sent for work anniversaries equal the number of years of service the employee is celebrating. For example, if it is someone’s 3rd anniversary, they will receive 3 tacos.

In HeyTaco for Microsoft Teams, admins can customize the number of tacos people receive for their work anniversary.

What if there are multiple Milestone celebrations in one day?


If there are multiple people on your team celebrating a birthday or work anniversary, they will each receive an individual message in your selected channel, or a direct message from HeyTaco, depending on their settings.

That way, every individual gets their own time to shine, and people can pile on tacos to their Milestone event.
