Where are milestone messages posted? 

Milestone messages appear in the Slack channel selected in your admin settings. You can create a dedicated #celebrations or #milestones channel for these if desired.

Will users get notified on their special day?

Yes, the tagged user will receive a notification in Slack just like any other HeyTaco message.

Birthday messages are sent at 9:30 AM in the user's time zone. Work anniversary messages are sent at 10 AM in the user's time zone.

Can milestone messages be kept private or shared only in certain channels? 

Yes, the employee chooses whether they’d like to be celebrated publicly (in a public channel), privately (in a direct message from HeyTaco), or not at all. The employee can enable/disable public/private celebrations anytime on their profile settings. 

Users can enable/disable or edit their Milestone preferences on their Profile --> Settings page.
