Can I change when milestone messages are sent?

Currently, HeyTaco sends milestone messages at fixed times:

  • Birthday messages: ~9:30 AM in the team member's local time zone
  • Work anniversary messages: ~10:00 AM in the team member's local time zone

These times can't be customized per team or per milestone at this time.


What about milestones that fall on a weekend?

If a birthday or work anniversary falls on a Saturday or Sunday, HeyTaco automatically sends the message on the following Monday. This timing isn't configurable — there's currently no option to send it on the Friday before instead.


Can I customize the message or taco amount?

Yes — while the send time isn't customizable, you can fully customize the message content and the number of tacos given. Go to Admin → Milestones → Settings to edit both. (Note, you will need to be an Admin in order to make this change).
