How do I add HeyTaco to my workspace?

Adding HeyTaco takes just a few minutes directly from the HeyTaco website. Select your platform below and follow the steps.

Slack

1. Click "Add to Slack"
2. Select the Slack workspace you want to add HeyTaco to — you can switch workspaces from the dropdown in the top-right corner
3. Accept the permissions that allow HeyTaco to track tacos. This screen explains what information HeyTaco can see, collect, and modify. If you have questions, see our Privacy Policy.
4. Select the channel(s) you want HeyTaco in. Adding HeyTaco to multiple channels makes it easier to give recognition without remembering where HeyTaco is active. If you want to test things out first, create a test channel before completing setup.
5. Choose whether to send a welcome message to the channel. We recommend doing this — it lets your team know what HeyTaco is and how it works. You can also send it later at any time with the command: @HeyTaco welcome
6. Give your first taco!

Microsoft Teams

1. Click "Add to Microsoft Teams" from the HeyTaco website and choose Microsoft Teams as your platform
2. Click "Open" on the HeyTaco app modal
3. Select the team and channel you'd like to use HeyTaco in and click "Open"
   1. HeyTaco will automatically send a welcome message to everyone in the team/channel introducing itself
4. Give your first taco!
