How do taco reactions work?

Note: Taco Reactions are currently a Slack-only feature.

Taco Reactions let you give a taco by reacting to any message with a 🌮 taco emoji, rather than writing a new message.

How it works:

• If the message you react to mentions someone by @username , that person receives the taco
• If no one is mentioned in the message, the taco goes to the message author

Taco Reactions need to be enabled by a HeyTaco admin before anyone on the team can use them. To enable it, go to Admin → Settings and look for the Taco Reactions option under the Giving Tacos section.
