How do I add people to HeyTaco?

You don't need to manually add people to HeyTaco. Anyone who gives or receives their first taco is automatically added as a user — no setup required on your end.

To give someone their first taco, tag them with @name , write a message of appreciation, and include a 🌮 emoji.

All users with a HeyTaco account are listed under Admin → People in the HeyTaco app.

Slack admins: adding people in bulk

If you're on Slack, admins can also add everyone in the workspace — or specific people — directly from the Admin → People page, without waiting for them to give or receive a taco first. This is useful if you want to pre-populate your team before launch.
