Who is our HeyTaco admin and how do we create one?
HeyTaco for Slack
When HeyTaco is added to Slack, the person who installed it becomes the default HeyTaco admin. To see who your admin is, go to the Team Info page in HeyTaco.
To add more admins, an existing admin goes to Admin → People and changes the role in the Roles column to Admin. You can have as many admins as you'd like.
If your team doesn't have an admin or the admin has left, contact us and we'll help sort it out.
HeyTaco for Microsoft Teams
When HeyTaco is installed in Microsoft Teams, the person who installs it becomes the admin. Admins have access to all HeyTaco settings for their team.
To add more admins, an existing admin goes to Admin → People and assigns the Admin role from the Roles column. You can have as many admins as you'd like.
If your team doesn't have an admin or the admin has left, contact us and we'll help.
Note: on both platforms, you can never change your own admin status.
