Giving tacos
Everyone gets 5 tacos to give each day. Mention a teammate, add a note of thanks, and drop in a taco. Tacos reset at midnight in each person's time zone, so recognition stays steady and spread across the team.
Activity & Leaderboards
All taco activity shows up in one central feed, so appreciation is visible across channels and teams. Leaderboards track tacos given, received, and combined, filterable by channel or time frame. Admins choose what people see, or turn leaderboards off.
Values Tagging
Add hashtags like #excellence or #customer-first to connect everyday recognition to your company values. The tags page shows which values keep showing up, which makes it easy to celebrate your values champions.
Taco Chats

Taco Chats pairs teammates for quick conversations in Slack, from new hires to the people you work with but never really talk to. It uses the tacos your team gives to make smarter matches, then opens a chat with a fun question to break the ice.
HeyTaco hosts the conversation right in Slack and keeps it going with a follow-up when things get quiet, so there are no calendar invites to juggle. If you'd like to hop on a call or grab a real coffee, go for it, but it's never required. Admins choose how often matches go out, and anyone can opt out anytime.

Quests let people earn tacos for finishing the things that matter to your team. Submit a Quest for something you did, or nominate a teammate who went above and beyond. Admins review and approve, and the tacos go out.

Stickers unlock as people give and receive tacos, and they're worth more when you pass them on. A Super Taco gives one teammate two tacos, and a Taco Tree sends a taco to up to six people at once. Admins can grant stickers too, for birthdays or a big team win.
Rewards
Tacos add up, and people redeem them in the Taco Shop. Offer custom rewards like time off or coffee with the CEO, collaborative rewards the team pools tacos toward, and gift cards that HeyTaco fulfills for you.
Milestones
Birthdays and work anniversaries get celebrated automatically, with tacos delivered to the team channel. Each person picks how they're celebrated: publicly, by DM, or not at all.
Admin Controls & Analytics
See taco activity, upcoming milestones, and downloadable data in real time. Recognition and rewards reports show how engagement changes over time, and taco bonuses let you add extra tacos for things like referrals.
