Leaderboards help drive engagement by adding a little friendly competition. They also make HeyTaco a lot of fun. However, if you have an overly competitive team you can disable leaderboards in the HeyTaco admin.
There are three leaderboard views, tacos received, tacos given, and my favorite, tacos combined.
These views allow you to see your top taco givers, receivers, the combined view is great because it ranks people on a combination of their taco giving and receiving.
Many successful HeyTaco customers share one similar trait, they're all really good at celebrating their givers. By celebrating your givers you'll foster a culture of giving, and build a stronger, healthier taco economy.
You can also view your leaderboards by time frame. My recommendation is to set your default time frame view for either weekly or monthly. What this does, is it levels the playing field and it gives everyone a chance to be at the top of the leaderboard.
And then finally you can view a leaderboard for each channel HeyTaco has been invited to. This allows people to have a leaderboard for their own teams, business units, or maybe your own business location.
We're looking at an aggregate view here when we select all channels.
In slack you can view your default leaderboard within the HeyTaco app on the home tab. For those of you that want to brag about your leaderboard position, well you can view your leaderboard right in the channel.
