HeyTaco rewards are a great way to add some extra excitement to your taco economy.

You can create custom tailored rewards that your team can redeem with the tacos they've received. Rewards are built using a redemption model and for every taco you receive you also earn a redeemable taco. You use your redeemable tacos to redeem the rewards you've created.

There are two types of rewards, individual rewards you redeem for yourself, and team rewards you work together with others to redeem.

When it comes to rewards I recommend non-monetary rewards. Gift cards can work, but you can quickly find yourself in a situation where people are giving tacos because they want the money. And if this is the case, you have to question the impact of the tool.

HeyTaco customers typically find better results with experience type rewards, an online cooking class, social gatherings, or a high five from the CEO.

These types of experience rewards work great because they are personable and they create everlasting memories.

Let's look at a team reward. Team rewards are great for bringing people together around a shared goal. In this case I've created a feel-good reward, tacos for charity. The way this works, anyone on the team can come in and contribute as many of their tacos towards the redemption of this reward. Anyone who contributes will be listed here on the right side, and once we get to a thousand tacos then this team reward is considered redeemed. And HeyTaco admins will get a notification that the reward has been redeemed.

Creating a reward is really simple, there are some ideas over here on the side. However, you probably have your own ideas. You set a title, a description, a redemption amount, this is how many tacos it will take to redeem this reward. Quantity if you have a limited supply of an item. And then the box here allows you to type a message to the person redeeming the reward to let them know what to expect.

You don't have to break the bank with rewards. Some of the best rewards are low cost or no cost. I recommend keeping things easy and having fun.
